The CONTEC BX-M1020P4 is a fanless industrial embedded computer intended for automation, machine control, digital signage, data acquisition, and expansion-heavy edge computing applications. It uses a seventh-generation Intel Celeron 3965U processor for stable performance with low power consumption and supports a wide variety of peripheral interfaces through native ports and expansion slots. The fanless design eliminates moving parts for greater reliability in industrial environments.
This model supports one PCI Express (x4) slot and three PCI slots, allowing users to install up to four expansion cards simultaneously. It also features dual 2.5-inch SATA drive bays for flexible storage configurations. CONTEC’s BIOS supports embedded-oriented functions such as Unified Write Filter (UWF) to protect storage media from unintended writes, which is especially useful in embedded deployments with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
