These sensors detect objects such as plastics, liquids, powders, and granular materials by sensing changes in capacitance when the target enters the electric field, making them suitable for level monitoring, bulk material detection, packaging verification, and automation presence sensing. The “FT” designation indicates flush (shielded) mounting, allowing the sensors to be installed directly into metal mounting surfaces without reducing sensing range.
