The DataSensing C30 Series is a family of cylindrical capacitive proximity sensors engineered for reliable detection of both metal and non‑metal materials in industrial automation environments. Capacitive sensing differs from inductive sensing by responding to changes in capacitance caused by the presence of materials such as plastics, liquids, powders, or granular substances — making C30 sensors ideal for level detection, packaging verification, material presence checks, and process control applications where varied target composition is present.
Featuring a robust M30 threaded housing with IP67 protection, the C30 Series is built to withstand harsh factory conditions including dust, moisture, vibration, and washdown.
