The DataSensing C30FT Series consists of cylindrical capacitive proximity sensors with extended sensing range and flush (shielded) mounting capability designed for reliable detection of a wide range of materials. Capacitive sensors detect changes in capacitance when a target material, such as plastic, liquid, powder, granular media, or metal, enters the sensing field, making them suitable for level detection, material presence monitoring, packaging inspection, and automated process control. The “FT” designation indicates flush mounting, enabling the sensor to be installed into metal surfaces without being affected by the surroundings, which simplifies installation and improves mechanical robustness.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, C30FT sensors feature IP67 protection and rugged housings to withstand dust, moisture, vibration, and harsh factory conditions. Adjustable sensitivity allows users to fine‑tune the sensing response to suit different materials and installation conditions. With flexible output options such as PNP or NPN with normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) switching, the series can be easily integrated into PLCs, industrial controllers, and automation systems.
