The DataSensing FC7 Series consists of photoelectric fork sensors designed for high-precision label detection in industrial automation and packaging applications. These sensors use infrared light emission within a fork-shaped housing to detect the presence of labels and gaps on backing material, making them suitable for both opaque and semi-transparent labels. With a narrow slot width and high sensitivity, the FC7 Series can detect very small label gaps down to 2 mm, ensuring accurate positioning and control in high-speed labeling processes such as bottling, packaging lines and conveyor systems.
The series supports dynamic Teach-in and manual adjustment via push buttons, allowing easy setup and adaptation to different materials and production speeds. Featuring a high switching frequency of up to 10 kHz and fast response time, the FC7 Series is well suited for rapid detection tasks. The sensors are housed in a durable thermoplastic body with IP65 protection and offer flexible output configurations including PNP and NPN with selectable light or dark operation modes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industrial control systems.
