The DataSensing QF Series is a family of compact miniature photoelectric sensors designed for reliable object detection in harsh industrial environments and food and beverage applications. These sensors feature a rugged cubic stainless steel housing (AISI 316L) with high protection ratings (IP67 / IP68 / IP69K), making them resistant to water, washdown, and cleaning agents. The series supports a variety of detection modes including diffuse proximity, polarized retro‑reflective, background suppression, through‑beam emitter/receiver, and long‑range sender/receiver configurations to match diverse sensing needs. Sensor sensitivity is adjustable via potentiometer or trimmer and models provide complementary outputs (NO and NC) with robust electrical protections such as reverse polarity and short circuit immunity.
QF Series sensors are optimized for fast switching applications with high repeatability and are available with either fixed cables or M8 4‑pin connectors for flexible installation. Typical uses include presence detection of objects at varying distances from very near (≈200 mm) to extended ranges up to 15 m (for through‑beam pairs), making them suitable for conveyor systems, packaging lines, and automated inspection systems where dependable performance under harsh or wet conditions is essential.
