The DataSensing S300 Series is a range of heavy duty MAXI photoelectric sensors engineered for reliable object detection in demanding industrial environments. Designed with a robust large cubic housing, the sensors provide strong mechanical durability with IP67 protection, making them suitable for outdoor installations and harsh industrial conditions. The S300 family supports multiple optical detection methods including diffuse proximity sensing, polarized retro reflective detection, background suppression, and long range through beam sensing. These sensors are widely used in automation systems such as conveyor lines, warehouse automation, woodworking machines, and general manufacturing equipment where stable and long distance detection is required.
The series offers flexible electrical configurations including 12 to 30 V DC models and multivoltage versions supporting 24 to 240 V AC/DC, allowing easy integration into various control systems. S300 sensors also feature adjustable sensitivity through a trimmer, integrated timing functions such as ON delay, OFF delay, and one shot timing from 0.6 to 16 seconds, and a wide detection range depending on the optical type. Through beam versions can detect targets up to 50 m, while retro reflective and diffuse models support shorter but highly stable detection distances for industrial automation tasks.
