The DataSensing SR21 Series consists of high-resolution photoelectric fork sensors specifically designed for label detection and print mark recognition in packaging and automation applications. Featuring a narrow 2 mm slot width, these sensors deliver precise detection of labels, gaps or registration marks with a minimum detectable object size of approximately 0.5 mm, making them ideal for high-accuracy processes. The series includes variants with infrared emission (SR21-IR) for label or hole detection and red/green emission (SR21-RG) for detecting color contrast marks on transparent films.
The SR21 Series is engineered for high-speed operation with a switching frequency of up to 25 kHz and a fast response time of approximately 20 µs, ensuring reliable performance in fast-moving production lines. Configuration is simplified through Teach-in or dynamic setting, allowing the sensor to adapt automatically while materials are in motion.
