The DataSensing SR23 Series consists of high-efficiency photoelectric fork sensors designed for reliable detection of labels, including standard, thick booklet and multi-layer labels, commonly used in packaging applications such as food and pharmaceutical industries. With a 5 mm slot width and 50 mm depth, the sensors provide stable and accurate detection even for complex label structures. The infrared LED emission with a narrow beam enables precise detection independent of material variations, delivering a minimum detectable label or gap size of approximately 0.5 mm.
The SR23 Series is optimized for high-speed operations with a fast response time of around 40 µs and a switching frequency up to 12 kHz, ensuring reliable performance in fast production lines. Configuration is simplified through static or dynamic Teach-in via push button or remote input, allowing quick adaptation to different materials. The sensors are housed in a compact and robust metal body with flexible mounting options and are available with either M8 connector or cable versions, supporting both PNP and NPN outputs for easy system integration.
