The DataSensing SR31 Series consists of compact photoelectric fork sensors designed for reliable detection of small objects, labels and material edges in industrial automation and packaging applications. Utilizing infrared LED emission, these sensors detect objects passing through a 30 mm wide and 42 mm deep slot, making them suitable for detecting opaque labels on transparent backing, monitoring material continuity and edge guiding. The sturdy metal housing and compact design allow installation in tight spaces while maintaining stable detection performance.
The SR31 Series features a high switching frequency of up to 10 kHz and fast response time, enabling accurate detection in high-speed processes such as labeling machines, bottling lines and assembly systems. Sensitivity is adjustable via a multi-turn trimmer, allowing fine tuning based on material characteristics. The sensors support PNP and NPN outputs with selectable light or dark operation, and are available with either M8 connector or cable versions for flexible integration into industrial control systems.
