The DataSensing UQ1 Series is a line of compact hybrid ultrasonic sensors combining a cubic body form with an M18 threaded head for flexible mounting in constrained spaces. These sensors use ultrasonic pulse reflection for distance measurement and object detection independent of color, transparency or surface texture, making them suitable for industrial automation, material handling, robotics and liquid or bulk level sensing. The hybrid housing design supports robust installation with a 4‑pin M12 connector pointing downward and includes multifunction Teach‑in buttons to set switching distances and scale analog outputs directly on the device.
Variants in the UQ1 Series offer a broad selection of sensing ranges from short (40 mm to 300 mm) up to extended (80 mm to 1200 mm) and are available with multiple output configurations including hybrid digital (PNP or NPN) plus analog (0‑10 V or 4‑20 mA) or IO‑Link for smart communication and remote configuration.
