The RiKO ASP Series including ASP-4012-K1 and ASP-4016-K1 are general purpose compact area sensors light curtain type designed for wide-area object detection with high beam density and extended sensing height. These sensors utilize a through beam multi-axis detection system, where multiple infrared beams form a detection curtain to reliably detect objects passing through the sensing area. With a slim aluminum and ABS housing, they are suitable for machine automation, conveyor monitoring, and safety zone detection.
The ASP-4012-K1 provides 12 beams with a sensing height of 440 mm, while the ASP-4016-K1 offers 16 beams with an extended sensing height of 600 mm, allowing broader coverage. Both models support NPN or PNP outputs with Light ON or Dark ON modes, along with dual power adjustment settings for long or short distance detection. Their visible LED indicators and stable response performance make them reliable for industrial environments requiring consistent and precise detection.
