The RiKO OAP Series (2008 and 2016 models) are compact area sensors light curtain type designed for wide-area object detection with higher beam density and resolution. With an ultra slim 13 mm housing, these sensors are ideal for installations where space is limited, such as production lines, machine safety zones, and conveyor systems. The series uses a through beam multi-axis detection system with multiple infrared beams to ensure accurate detection across the sensing height.
The OAP-2008 models provide medium detection height with 8 beams, while the OAP-2016 models offer extended coverage with 16 beams and higher detection height. Standard versions support long distance detection up to 5 m, while S variants are optimized for short range detection up to 2 m with improved precision. All models include LED status indication, protection circuits, and stable performance for industrial environments.
