The RiKO PK3 Series is a family of compact rectangular miniature photoelectric sensors designed for general industrial object detection and automation applications. These sensors share a space-saving design with visible dual LED indicators that allow easy status monitoring. All PK3 models operate on a DC 12 to 24 V supply and support selectable Light-ON or Dark-ON output modes with NPN or PNP transistor outputs. Connector options (NB types) or built-in cables (NP types) allow flexible installation.

Depending on the sensing configuration, PK3 sensors include diffuse reflection models for proximity detection (DU20, DU50, QM1 variants), through-beam models for longer range interruption sensing (PK3-5 series), and retroreflective models for detection with a reflector (PK3-R2 series). This versatility allows the PK3 Series to cover tasks from short-range part presence sensing to longer object chain detection.
