The Riko FR and FT Series plastic fiber optics are designed to work with fiber optic amplifiers to deliver precise object detection in industrial automation systems. These fiber optic cables guide light between the amplifier and the sensing point, enabling detection in narrow spaces, complex machine structures, or areas where conventional photoelectric sensors cannot be installed. The plastic fiber construction provides excellent flexibility and durability, allowing the cable to be bent and routed easily around equipment while maintaining stable optical transmission. The series supports operating temperatures from approximately -55 °C to +70 °C and offers various sensing distances depending on the model and amplifier used.
The FR and FT Series includes a wide range of models designed for different sensing applications such as reflective detection, through beam sensing, array detection, flexible sensing heads, coaxial fiber optics, and heat resistant versions.
