The R3JK‑DU100A3 / R3JK‑DU100KP2 type operates on the diffuse‑reflection principle, detecting objects based on light reflected from surfaces within its sensing range, around 1 m under standard conditions with white reflective targets.
The R3JK‑10A3 functions as a through‑beam/barrier sensor with a 10 m sensing distance, suitable for detecting object presence across a wider span or open areas where reflective detection isn’t ideal.
