The SENPUM TU‑N Series consists of high‑precision ultrasonic sensors engineered for reliable distance measurement and object detection using ultrasonic waves. These sensors operate on a diffuse reflective principle, where ultrasonic pulses are emitted and reflections from target surfaces are measured to determine proximity or presence. The TU‑N Series offers analog output (4‑20 mA) and adjustable switching points via on‑board teach‑in buttons, making them suitable for integration in automated systems where continuous distance information or threshold‑triggered outputs are required.

Designed for industrial environments, the TU‑N Series delivers stable performance through features like temperature compensation, short‑circuit and reverse polarity protection, and EMC compliance. Each sensor sports a robust housing with IP67 protection, enabling use in harsh conditions. Typical applications include level sensing, object detection over extended ranges, and distance monitoring where optical sensors may struggle, such as with transparent or reflective surfaces.
