The Telco OFS 080 N3S T3 is an optical fork sensor designed for precise thru‑beam object detection in industrial automation systems. Fork sensors consist of a U‑shaped housing with a transmitter on one prong and a receiver on the other. When an object passes through the fork opening it interrupts the infrared beam, causing the output to switch. These sensors are ideal for high‑speed counting, small part detection, position monitoring on conveyors, and packaging applications where reliable and repeatable detection is needed.
This model features a fork opening width of 80 mm and a depth of approximately 55 mm, providing a balanced size for medium‑sized targets. It operates on a broad 10–35 V dc supply range and includes a built‑in sensitivity potentiometer with a light/dark switch to configure the detection mode for different target types. Rugged aluminium housing with IP67 protection ensures reliable performance in harsh industrial environments, and the M8 connector simplifies wiring and installation.
