The Telco SM 6000 SpaceMaster™ series are compact thru‑beam photoelectric sensors designed for industrial object and presence detection in automation systems. In each pair, the SMT units function as transmitters emitting an infrared beam and the SMR units act as receivers that detect the beam. When an object interrupts the optical path, the sensor signals the change to a controller or amplifier. These sensors support adjustable range and test input features on the transmitter for tuning performance and simplifying setup.
The SG T3 variants use a miniature housing with a 3‑pin M8 plug for installations where small size and easy connector interfacing are priorities, while the TS 5 versions are built with stainless steel M12 housing and a 5 m cable for robust industrial use. All models operate on a wide 10–32 V dc supply and are IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. With a sensing range up to ~6 m, high immunity to environmental noise, and clear LED indicators for power and output status, these sensors deliver reliable detection in conveyors, packaging systems, and automated production equipment.
