The Telco SpaceMaster™ SM 7000 series consists of rugged industrial photoelectric sensors for object and presence detection across a range of sensing modes. In the thru‑beam pair, the SMT 7000 TS J transmitter emits an infrared beam that is received by the SMR 7620 TS J receiver. When the beam is interrupted by an object, the receiver’s output switches accordingly for control or safety applications in automation systems such as conveyors, packaging lines, and material handling stations. These sensors operate on a wide 10–30 V dc supply and include sensitivity adjustment and light/dark switching for versatile performance.
The SMP 7600 TP 5 diffuse proximity sensor uses reflected light to detect nearby objects up to about 0.5 m, providing reliable short‑range presence sensing, while the SMRR 7600 TP 5 retro‑reflective model detects targets using a reflector up to roughly 3 m away. All four models in the SM 7000 family are IP67 rated, protected against reverse polarity and short circuits, and feature power and output LED indicators for quick alignment and troubleshooting during installation.
