The Telco SP 2000 SpacePak™ series is a range of compact photoelectric sensors engineered for reliable object and presence detection in industrial automation applications. In thru‑beam configurations, the SPT 2645 5 transmitter emits an infrared light beam that the SPR 2645 5 receiver detects. When the optical path is interrupted by a target, the receiver switches its output to signal a detection event. These thru‑beam pairs are ideal for long‑distance detection needs such as conveyor controls, access sensing, and part counting.
In addition to thru‑beam sensing, the SP 2000 series includes other optical detection modes: the SPP 2605 5 diffuse proximity sensor detects objects based on reflected infrared light without a reflector, the SPPR 2610 J polarised retro‑reflective sensor uses a reflector for medium‑range detection with immunity to shiny surfaces, and the SPBS 2600 5 background suppression sensor provides reliable close‑range detection while ignoring background surfaces. All models feature robust housings, sensitivity adjustments, LED indicators, and IP67 protection for dependable performance in industrial environments.
