The Baumer CleverLevel® LBFS-2 is an advanced point level sensor designed for reliable detection of liquids, pastes, powder and bulk solids in industrial and hygienic process environments. Using frequency sweep measurement technology, the LBFS-2 senses changes in media dielectric constant to deliver highly stable switching behaviour across a wide range of media types and applications. It supports multiple trigger modes including single point, two point and window trigger, making it suitable for both simple and more complex level logic requirements.
Built for robustness and flexibility, the LBFS-2 features a wide selection of process connections, high-quality wetted materials such as PEEK and stainless steel, and adjustable damping up to 60 seconds for optimal signal stability in challenging conditions. The sensor offers selectable output types including PNP, NPN and PWM, and can be configured for high-active or low-active switching logic.
