The Baumer CleverLevel LFFS is a capacitive point level sensor that uses frequency sweep technology for reliable level detection in demanding industrial and hygienic environments. It is engineered to provide precise, maintenance-free detection of liquid and solid media with a dielectric constant above 1.5, even in applications with process temperatures up to 200 °C. The sensor’s design makes it resistant to common interferences such as foam and adhesive buildup and suitable for tasks such as empty-pipe detection and dry-run protection for pumps.
Built with high-grade materials including PEEK and stainless steel, the LFFS meets stringent hygiene standards such as 3-A, FDA, and EHEDG certifications and also holds approvals for WHG overfill and leakage applications.
