The Baumer PAC50H is a compact hygienic conductivity sensor and transmitter designed for precise liquid analysis in food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other sanitary process applications. It reliably measures conductivity from as low as 1 µS/cm up to 1000 mS/cm with good repeatability and adjustable temperature compensation, making it suitable for media differentiation and control tasks. The device combines a hygienic one‑piece stainless steel housing and PEEK wetted parts (Ra ≤ 0.8 µm) for long service life, and is certified to hygiene standards including 3‑A, EHEDG and FDA for safe use in CIP/SIP processes.
Equipped with dual‑channel IO‑Link 1.1 interface and a 4 … 20 mA analog output, the PAC50H supports flexible integration with automation systems and allows configuration of measured parameters such as conductivity, temperature and derived concentration data. With programmable damping, fast response characteristics and high resistance to process conditions up to ~150 °C, this sensor enables robust monitoring and control in demanding hygienic installations.
