The Baumer PBMH is a hygienic pressure transmitter designed for clean process environments such as food, beverage, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and dairy industries where hygiene and CIP/SIP cleanability are essential. It features a flush membrane design with hygienic approvals (e.g., 3‑A and EHEDG) and a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 μm on the process connection to prevent dead‑space and microbial build‑up. With a fully welded stainless‑steel housing and excellent temperature compensation, the PBMH delivers accurate and stable pressure measurements with minimal drift in demanding production environments.
The transmitter supports absolute and relative (gauge) pressure measurement, configurable over a variety of pressure ranges typically from ‑1 … 0 bar to 0 … 40 bar. It allows external parameter programming (zero and span) using Baumer’s FlexProgrammer 9701 tool and offers robust environmental resistance for process integration. Optional approvals and high temperature operation up to 150 °C (CIP) or 200 °C (with cooling neck) extend its suitability for stringent hygienic applications.
