The ESR Series Safety Control Module is a safety relay module designed to perform central safety logic control for industrial machines and systems where safety device monitoring is required. It meets ISO 13849‑1 Category 4 / Performance Level e (PL e) safety requirements and is suitable for monitoring a variety of safety inputs such as emergency stop buttons, safety door switches, safety light curtains, safety mats, two hand controls, interlock switches, and reset buttons. It supports self‑diagnosis and redundant circuit design to improve safety integrity and to maintain safe operation if any single fault occurs. The module also offers selectable manual reset or automatic reset options and visual indicators that simplify diagnostics during installation and maintenance.

ESR modules are typically DIN rail mountable with a standard 35 mm width guide design and operate from DC 24 V power supply. They provide multiple relay safety outputs and auxiliary contacts for interfacing with external control systems, adjustable reset functionality, and robust protective circuitry including reverse polarity protection and overvoltage protection, making them versatile for various machine safety logic applications in automation environments.
