The ESPE ESRE‑4A2B Series is a safety relay expansion module designed to expand the number of safety output contacts in an industrial safety circuit. It is engineered in accordance with ISO 13849‑1 Category 4 / Performance Level e (PL e) safety requirements, making it suitable for use in high‑safety‑integrity applications such as emergency stop monitoring, door interlocks, and safety device integration where additional relay outputs are needed without redesigning the safety control logic. The module accepts a safety input signal from an upstream safety device and provides clearly separated relay output contacts to interface with machine actuators or control systems while maintaining redundancy and cross‑diagnosis to detect internal faults.

The ESRE‑4A2B Series features four normally open safety relay outputs and two normally closed auxiliary contacts, protective circuitry including overvoltage and reverse polarity protection, and visual status indicators that simplify diagnostics and maintenance. It is designed for standard 35 mm DIN‑rail mounting in control cabinets and supports robust mechanical and electrical lifecycles required for industrial use.
