The Hokuyo UGM‑50 series are robust outdoor‑rated 2D LiDAR sensors designed for high‑performance obstacle detection, area monitoring, and environmental mapping in demanding applications such as autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), industrial AGVs, mining equipment, agricultural vehicles, and port/crane automation. Featuring a wide 190° field of view, long detection distances up to 120 m (with data range up to 160 m), and flexible angular resolutions, these scanners provide both area outputs and distance measurement data over Ethernet. Built with IP67‑rated shock‑resistant metallic housings and optional built‑in heaters, they deliver reliable scanning performance even in harsh weather and outdoor environments
