The ReeR EOS4-A Series is a family of Type 4 safety light curtains designed for high-level machine safety applications where maximum protection is required. These devices create an infrared protective field between emitter and receiver units, and any interruption immediately triggers a stop signal to prevent hazardous machine operation. The EOS4-A models feature automatic restart functionality, allowing machines to resume operation once the protective field is cleared, making them suitable for applications where continuous workflow is essential without manual reset.
Built with a compact 28 × 30 mm housing and no blind zone on one side, the EOS4-A Series allows flexible installation even in space-constrained environments. The series supports multiple resolutions ranging from finger to body detection (14 mm up to 90 mm) and protected heights from small to over 1.6 meters depending on model. With Type 4, SIL3, PL e Cat.4 safety rating, IP65 to IP67 protection, and simple hardware configuration via M12 connectors, the EOS4-A Series is widely used in industrial automation, robotics, packaging and hazardous machinery safeguarding.
