The ReeR EOS4 Master Slave Version is a configuration of Type 4 safety light curtains designed to extend protection coverage by connecting multiple light curtain pairs in a cascade system. In this setup, one unit acts as the Master, managing the safety outputs, while one or two additional Slave units are connected in series to expand the protective field. This architecture enables multi-side or large-area protection, ensuring that any interruption across the entire system triggers a single, unified safety stop signal.

This configuration is ideal for complex machinery layouts such as L-shaped guarding, multi-side access points or large automated systems, where a single light curtain is insufficient. The EOS4 Master Slave system maintains high safety performance with Type 4, SIL3, PL e Cat.4 certification, and supports integrated features such as External Device Monitoring (EDM) and selectable manual or automatic restart. It also allows connection distances of up to 50 m between units and up to 100 m total cable length, providing flexibility in installation across large machines.
