The ReeR EOS4-X Series is a range of advanced Type 4 safety light curtains designed for high-level machine safety applications where maximum protection is required. These light curtains create an infrared protective field between the emitter and receiver, and any interruption of the beams immediately stops the machine to prevent accidents. The EOS4-X models feature integrated control functions, including External Device Monitoring (EDM) and selectable manual or automatic restart modes, eliminating the need for additional safety controllers in many applications.
Built with a compact 28 × 30 mm profile, the EOS4-X Series is suitable for installations where space is limited while still delivering high safety performance compliant with Type 4, SIL3, and PL e Cat.4 standards. The series offers multiple resolutions for finger, hand or body protection and supports operating ranges up to 12 m or higher depending on variant. With IP65 to IP67 protection, LED diagnostics and M12 connectivity, the EOS4-X Series is widely used in industrial automation, robotics, packaging and hazardous machinery safeguarding.
