The Murrelektronik CUBE20 BUS NODE ETHERNet/IP is a fieldbus interface module for the Cube20 modular I/O system that enables 8 digital inputs to be connected to an EtherNet/IP network for industrial automation applications. It functions as the central communication gateway between a PLC or controller and Cube20 I/O modules. The module supports addressing by DHCP, BOOTP, or a rotary switch which simplifies network integration and configuration.
The bus node operates from a 24 V DC supply and includes spring-clamp plug-in terminals for sensor and system power and for I/O signal connections. It provides galvanic isolation between the I/O section and system electronics, improving electrical safety, and uses compact construction with IP20 protection suitable for control cabinet installation on a DIN rail.
