The IMPACT67 Compact Module Plastic from Murrelektronik is an EtherCAT fieldbus I/O module designed for decentralised signal processing in industrial automation systems. It provides eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs, each capable of handling switching currents up to 2 A with short‑circuit and overload protection, making it suitable for controlling and monitoring discrete sensors and actuators in machine and process automation. The communication interface supports Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s via M12 D‑coded connectors, allowing fast bus communication in rugged environments.
This module is housed in a fully potted plastic enclosure with an IP67 protection rating for dust and water resistance, allowing installation in harsh factory conditions close to the field. It supports 24 V DC supply under standard automation requirements and features local LED diagnostics per channel and for communication status, helping technicians identify states and faults quickly. Mechanically it is mounted via two screw holes compatible with MVK series I/O modules.
