The Hokuyo PGL-050W3 and PGL-180W3 are industrial laser distance sensors designed for accurate, long-range non-contact distance measurement in indoor and outdoor automation applications. The PGL-050W3 measures distances from 0.05 m to 50 m, while the PGL-180W3 extends measurement up to 180 m using a reflector, with typical accuracy of ±3 mm and high measurement speed up to 100 Hz. These sensors support multiple serial interfaces (RS-232, RS-422/485, SSI), configurable digital inputs and outputs, and fieldbus options such as Profinet and EtherCAT, all within an IP65-rated housing for robust industrial performance.
