SENPUM – LA2-ZB Series

CMOS type

The SENPUM LA2-ZB Series is a family of background suppression type CMOS laser sensors designed for high-accuracy object detection and distance measurement in industrial automation environments. These sensors use a digital CMOS detection method with laser triangulation and a 4-digit real-time distance display, allowing users to see the measured distance directly on the sensor body and adjust settings easily via push-button controls. Advanced background suppression ensures that detection is unaffected by object colour or surface reflectivity, providing true black-and-white isometric performance across a wide range of targets.

The LA2-ZB Series supports models with NPN, PNP, and relay outputs, covering distance ranges from approximately 25 mm up to 600 mm depending on the model number. With selectable timer modes (OFF/ON delay, OFF delay, single trigger), protection circuits for reverse polarity and output overcurrent, and IP67 environmental protection, these sensors are suited for automated inspection, presence detection, transparent or reflective object sensing, and other complex industrial tasks.
