The ESPE ESP Series is an industrial safety light curtain specially developed for environments with intense ambient light, including outdoor locations exposed to direct sunlight. It employs a unique optical lens design and robust infrared detection to maintain reliable sensing even under strong light conditions, making it suitable for applications where ordinary light curtains would fail due to sunlight glare or high brightness interference. The series features independent MCU self‑diagnosis, over‑current protection, and redundant outputs that connect directly to PLCs or safety controllers, ensuring dependable basic presence detection and easy integration with control systems.
Designed for long sensing distances up to 20 m and IP65‑rated rugged aluminum housings, the ESP Series can guard wide openings, outdoor gates, access points, material transfer zones, and other areas exposed to strong lighting.
