The ReeR EOS2-A Series is a compact range of Type 2 safety light curtains designed for personnel protection in industrial machinery and automation systems. These devices operate using synchronized emitter and receiver units that generate an infrared protective field. When any object interrupts the light beams, the system immediately triggers a stop signal to prevent hazardous machine operation. The EOS2-A models are designed with automatic restart functionality, making them suitable for applications where continuous operation is required after beam clearance without manual reset.
The series features a slim 28 × 30 mm housing with no blind zone on one side, allowing flexible installation even in space-limited environments. Multiple models are available with different protected heights and resolutions for body detection, supporting ranges up to 12 meters. With IP65 to IP67 protection, LED diagnostic indicators, and simple hardware configuration without programming, the EOS2-A Series ensures reliable performance and easy integration into industrial safety systems such as packaging lines, material handling and automated machinery.
