The ReeR EOS2-X Series is a range of compact Type 2 safety light curtains designed to protect personnel working near hazardous machinery by creating an invisible protective field using synchronized emitter and receiver units. When any object interrupts the light beams, the system immediately sends a stop signal to the machine, ensuring operator safety. The EOS2-X models integrate additional control functions such as External Device Monitoring (EDM) and selectable automatic or manual restart, making them suitable for applications requiring enhanced safety logic without the need for external controllers.
Built with a slim 28 × 30 mm housing, the EOS2-X Series offers easy installation in space-constrained environments while maintaining robust industrial performance. The series supports multiple resolutions for body or hand detection and provides a maximum operating range up to 12 meters, with selectable low and high range modes. With IP65 to IP67 protection, LED diagnostics, and plug-and-play configuration via M12 connectors, the EOS2-X Series is widely used in industrial automation, packaging, material handling and machine safeguarding applications.
