The Telco SGT 14-085-016-A1-C-01-0.5-J5 transmitter and SGR 14-085-016-A1-C-09-0.5-J5 receiver are part of the SpaceGuard SG14 series of self contained light curtains designed for reliable multi beam object detection in industrial automation. Installed opposite each other, the transmitter projects multiple infrared beams across a defined detection field while the receiver continuously monitors the beam signals. When an object interrupts one or more beams, the receiver switches its output to indicate detection. This configuration is commonly used in conveyor monitoring, automated production lines, door protection systems, and material handling applications where wide area sensing is required.
The SG14 series incorporates advanced dynamic sequential blanking and automatic signal tracking features that allow the sensor system to maintain stable detection even in environments with dust, contamination, or partial beam obstruction. This technology allows certain beams to be temporarily ignored when blocked sequentially, which is particularly useful in industrial doors or moving machine parts. The sensors are housed in a slim aluminium profile with high resistance to vibration and environmental exposure, providing dependable performance with long sensing distances and IP67 protection.
