The Telco SGT 10-160-016-B1-C-00-5 transmitter and SGR 10-160-016-B1-C-06-5 receiver belong to the SpaceGuard SG10 series of self contained light curtains. These sensors operate in a thru beam configuration where the transmitter emits multiple infrared beams across a defined detection field and the receiver monitors the beam signals. When an object interrupts one or more beams, the receiver activates the output signal. This multi beam detection method is widely used for conveyor monitoring, object detection, pallet detection, and automated production line control.
The SG10 light curtain system is designed with advanced Automatic Signal Tracking (AST) technology that continuously adjusts each beam channel to maintain reliable performance even in conditions with dust, contamination, or slight misalignment. The sensors are built in a slim anodised aluminium profile with a robust industrial design, supporting sensing distances up to 10 m with a high immunity to ambient light. With integrated protection features and solid state relay output, the system provides dependable detection in demanding industrial environments.
