The Telco SGT 16-197-041-C1-U-00-0.3-T4-15 transmitter and SGR 16-197-041-C1-U-09-0.3-T6-5 receiver belong to the SpaceGuard SG16 series of self contained light curtains designed for reliable multi beam detection in industrial automation and safety applications. Installed opposite each other, the transmitter emits multiple infrared beams across a detection field while the receiver monitors these beams continuously. When an object interrupts one or more beams, the receiver switches the output signal, enabling accurate detection of objects passing through the sensing area. This type of sensor is commonly used for automated doors, conveyor systems, and machine guarding.
The SG16 series incorporates advanced detection technologies such as dynamic sequential blanking and static blanking, allowing the system to ignore certain blocked beams when required while maintaining reliable detection of moving objects. The sensors are built in a slim anodised aluminium profile with IP67 protection, providing strong resistance against dust, moisture, and industrial environmental conditions. With up to 41 optical channels, an active sensing height of 1800 mm, and a sensing range of up to 12 m, the light curtain delivers wide area monitoring with stable performance and high immunity to ambient light interference.
