The Hokuyo DMH-GB1 / DMH-GB2 / DMH-HB1 / DMH-HB2 are high speed 8-bit optical data transmission devices designed for reliable wireless communication between moving equipment and stationary control systems. Utilizing an infrared optical transmission method, the DMH series eliminates the need for physical communication cables, making it ideal for AGVs, transfer equipment, conveyors and automated manufacturing systems. Compared to the conventional DMS series, the DMH series provides communication speeds approximately five times faster, enabling more data to be transferred within a limited cycle time.
The series includes both Head-on (GB) and Side-on (HB) models with transmission distances of 0.6 m or 3 m depending on the model selected. Featuring half duplex two way communication, FSK modulation and a robust IP64 enclosure, the DMH series ensures stable and high speed data exchange in demanding industrial environments while simplifying installation through non contact optical communication.
