The Hokuyo DMH-GC1 / DMH-HC1 is a high speed optical data transmission device designed for reliable non contact communication between moving and stationary equipment in industrial automation systems. Supporting 16-bit parallel data transmission, the DMH series enables stable bidirectional communication without physical connectors, making it ideal for conveyors, transfer systems, AGVs and automated production lines. The compact design is smaller and lighter than previous models while featuring an adjustable optical beam intensity for simplified installation and communication distance adjustment.
The series is available in two communication orientations to suit different installation requirements. The DMH-GC1 features a head-on transmission configuration, while the DMH-HC1 uses a side-on transmission arrangement. Both models provide a communication distance of up to 3 meters, half duplex two way transmission, FSK modulation and a fast 15 ms transmission time, ensuring reliable data exchange even in demanding industrial environments. With IP64 protection and a rugged construction, the DMH series delivers dependable performance for automated material handling and machine to machine communication.
