The Hokuyo DMS-GA1-V, DMS-GA2-V, DMS-GB1-V, and DMS-GB2-V are compact parallel-type optical data transmission devices engineered for reliable short-range infrared communication in industrial automation and material handling systems. These modules transmit digital data (4-bit or 8-bit) between aligned units via half-duplex infrared signals, eliminating the need for physical cabling and minimizing electrical noise issues. They are ideal for applications such as AGV/AMR interlocks, destination signaling, and distributed I/O communication. With selectable transmission distances up to 3 m, configurable directional angles, and robust industrial specifications, including IP64 protection and high resistance to vibration and impact, these devices deliver stable and dependable optical communication.
