The Hokuyo LAV series is a laser-based optical fiber type hot metal detector (HMD) that contains a separately housed emitter and receiver, heat-resistant fiber cables and heavy-duty sensor heads. Equipped with high-powered laser diodes, this device operates effectively in high-temperature harsh production areas where dust, steam and vapors are present. With accurate long-range transmission, this through-beam system operates effectively in mill environments by detecting passing material on a process line that interrupts the infrared laser beam.
The Hokuyo MBX series is a non-contact hot metal detector (HMD) that uses microwave transmission for detecting hot steel. This system integrates a control unit, stainless waveguide and remotely mounted antenna stand. For the most severe applications where dust, smoke, vapors, high temperatures, induced noise or intense ambient light are present, this non-invasive sensing system is ideal for reliable detection of hot material in a continuous casting line, pipe or rolling mill.
The open-network type optical data transmission devices enable data to be transmitted quickly and reliably via Ethernet, CC-Link or DeviceNet between an aligned pair of units over various distances. Typical uses are on stacker cranes, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), AGVs and transfer cars for non-contact communication from the vehicle to the control unit. The use of modulated light as the transfer method means that these transceivers do not incur physical wear like trailing cables and slip rings nor do they require recalibration like radio systems.
The BRS series of optical remote control technology is suitable for many applications requiring simple data transmission between an operator and machine. Featuring small hand-held transmitters and compact receiver units, these models provide reliable communication for distances up to 10 meters. These systems allow an operator to transmit a signal to one specific receiver or several receivers through designated codes. With the flexibility of one transmitter communicating to multiple receiver units, an operator can reduce the number of spare transmitters needed and increase the overall efficiency of the remote control system.
The Hokuyo PX-DX/WX series is an economical through-beam type hot metal detector (HMD) that is used where lower ambient temperature areas are present within the steel manufacturing process. This model consists of a separate emitter and receiver equipped in compact self-contained housings. With accurate long-range transmission, this through-beam sensor operates effectively in mill environments by detecting passing material on a process line that interrupts the modulated light beam.
The PHV-10 series is an LED-based optical fiber type hot metal detector (HMD) that contains a separately housed emitter and receiver, heat-resistant fiber cables and heavy-duty sensor heads. With accurate long-range transmission, this through-beam system operates effectively in mill environments by detecting passing material on a process line that interrupts the modulated light beam.
The PRV-10 series Hot Metal Detector (HMD) is an electronic controller that includes the infrared detection cell, amplifier and electronic outputs in an aluminum die-cast housing. To accommodate variation in product temperature and background radiation, three levels of infrared thresholds are selectable with an internal switch and sensitivity adjustment knob. Combined with flexible stainless steel fiber cables and interchangeable sensor heads, this radiant-heat detection system can be standardized throughout the mill.
The RSC-30LN scanning laser rangefinder is an industrial sensor used for area obstacle detection and collision prevention for high-bay to lower bay crane applications. With a wide scan angle and detection range, this scanner will reduce the potential for collisions between overhead cranes and fixed objects or obstructions located in the crane runway area. With area-setting software, this device can be easily configured to any application for programming up to three detection output zones.
The UAM-05LP is a protective scanning device used for zone guarding near production equipment areas and monitoring the travel path of moving vehicles. Using the TOF (Time of Flight) operating principle for distance measurement, the scanner will calculate the time during which a pulse-emitted beam is reflected back from any detected object within a 270º scanning angle. Any object or person entering the configured warning and protection zones will initiate an output for stopping a machine or automated guided vehicle. The safety laser scanner allows users to easily configure simple or complex protection and/or warning zones to meet the application requirements. To maximize safety in a compact size, the UAM is an ideal solution for preventing a potentially unsafe situation in many industrial sectors. The UAM-05LP is also equipped with an Ethernet interface for obtaining distance data and intensity output values.
Ultrasonic fork sensors for label detection on transparent surfaces. Dynamic Teach- in system. Width slit detection 3 mm; maximum switching frequency 1,500 Hz.
For object or label detection; 2 mm to 180 mm width slit detection; 30 mm to 120 mm depth slit detection; red, infrared and laser emission; adjustable.
This is a small union designed for minimum water flow where space is a problem. The seals are Carbon Graphite-to-Stainless Steel. It has the same dimensions as Model 1005-020-038
This 2-passage union was designed to cool and actuate Drum Brakes on Oil Rigs. It has a 1″ water and 1/2″ air passage. The water passage has a cartridge seal that can be repaired on the machine. The 981-300 union can also be used on many other Air/Hydraulic applications. Contact Deublin Engineering Department for complete specifications.
